    Let's see, the EV1, already developed (even the EARLIER version, which was 4 door) ... with its super low body drag, batteries, range, etc ... every thing but marketing was already done for it.

    I must realy be missing something ... you ad a low power ICE on board, and that takes $2 Billion? Maybe if they're rolling into that budget, GM's managerial / board member's / officer's / Director's Golden Parachutes when the company folds.

    Can something be a clean sheet if it doesn't even exist? ... if even a working prototype doesn't even exist? ... if even a working drawing doesn't yet even exist? And, why does GM need a clean "anything", anyway, if they already did all the R&D for the EV1, even the earlier version EV1 - 4 door R&D was done. Seems the only R&D that needs to be done is adding the tiny ICE regenerator.
