It was well past time for tyres. I have always preferred good used tyres over the extra cost of being able to say "I got new..."anything, actually. So I found a great deal on a excellent set of Michelin Alpin a4's. Now, I'm in South Ga/SC...its May...ive never lived up north, while I've heard stories of 'Winter Tyres', it's just stories to me...until now. These are awesome winter tyres...fancy and expensive... ...and they are costing me 16-21% loss in fuel economy... In an awesome '07 with 320k that had been getting consistent 47-51mpg.
