By third place do you mean seat? What about the heat exchanger, the solid object between seats that cools the traction when charging with 220v?
I doubt that the heat exchanger is between left and right backseats, IMO it is below the seats cushion level where is plenty of room for the heat to be dissipated. Removing the central compartment, fitted in place of the third seat, the structure should appear like this (excuse me for the poor rendering, I am not very good at photoshopping).
I hope you wore mechanic's gloves when you install the seat covers, I installed them in an '07 Prius sans gloves and got cut up like I was in a fight. The seat covers look great and I know you feel good about them.
I did not wore any glove, despite this luckily I did not cut myself. However, I got tendonitis in my right hand, the articulation of the thumb still hurts when I shake hands with someone "muscular". But it was worth it, I am very happy about Clazzio seat covers.
