I can answer also, I do find it disconcerting driving another car. My foibles are the parking brake release and reaching for the garage door remote on the mirror. I can't say I notice any difference in acceleration from a stop light. I DO appreciate the continuously variable transmission. Climbing a steep hill (Conejo Grade in Ventura County, CA) is a smooth ride in the Prius, but annoying in a Dodge Caravan. I have to put that car in a lower gear because it can't decide what gear to use going uphill. I don't hear much comment abou the Prius transmission, but I love it.
the reason you dont hear about the Prius transmission you already know. because it works so well. when it stops working well, then you will hear about it.
Klindt, the former owner or dealer didn't give you a quick review, or at least hand you the valet card? Shame on them!
