    just to confirm... the front passenger seat-mounted side airbag didn't deploy because no passenger was sitting on it, right?

    That was my assumption as well, but I also think it would not deploy because it was not a front end impact (driver's side also didn't deploy)

    I was talking about the front passenger seat-side airbag, not the front airbag.
