    I got one of these mfd sun hoods off Ebay:

    and it attaches on either side of the mfd with velcro strips. I love it!!

    I use a PriusHood also on my MFD display. Really shields the sun for those late afternoon drives, so you can see the screen. The velcro Robin uses is easily removeable- and I have moved the hood occassionally...
