And so what car to date has successfully entered the market with reasonable profitability? Out in the middle of the usa? Some issues seem more like hydrogen deja vu .
We both have been offered the chance to order one of the VF8 City Editions (approx 180 mi range) on a ship to arrive around Dec 15. So far we haven’t taken the offer…
An even shorter 180 mi (EPA estimated) version. The details are kind of sketchy I’m afraid but the pricing is lower. MSRP (full purchase no lease option): Eco $55,500 Plus $62,500 For the earliest set of reservations there will be $3000 off these prices plus ($3000 off certificate). (VF9 holders got a $5k certificate for a VF9, I assume they will apply $3k to this VF8).
I had to dig this up from the European ordering page, but I finally have battery capacities! 82 kW and 87.7 kW for VF8 92 kW and 123 kW for VF9 Not sure what the battery size is for the VF8 City Edition… We’ll likely get one or the other (if I didn’t mention it already). I just wanted to make sure we didn’t miss out on either $3k off or $5k off nor the 6 night resort stay. I regret not changing the reservation for a VF9 to an order back in mid August. VinFast said they’d subtract the $7500 tax credit if our tax situation otherwise would qualify us. $200 would then be non-refundable but not a big loss if we end up getting the other… The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is out. I got an email saying I could reserve one and went to the Mitsubishi cars website and did so. I think the dealer chosen matters my wife just got a text message from them in poor English, and was never offered to come in to sign/pay. Another dealer a little further from home already has stock.
I believe they are net. I can Google search the capacities and there’s a link saying “usable” but when I click on it the page needs a login to load.
