i was wondering if any one knew how to enable the voice recognition button on the steering wheel(its the nav model), as it has been disabled on the Australian model for saftey. (strange hey, we get the EV button but no voice rec)
I have the wiring diagram and repair manual for the US/Canada model. I can't find the voice recognition switch anywhere in the wiring diagram! I'll look further, but I am thinking it goes through the radio as various resistances, and the radio communicates with the NAV through the AVC network to inform it the button was pushed.
Ill get that photo of the wheel for you Nate, there is a button on the wheel for it. Thanks Mate. (maybe it is an accent thing.. he... he ... ) It's the best car in the world.(im building a garage for it)
