As a former Prime owner, charging it everyday isn’t an issue, especially when saving money (good motivator). In fact, because I got my Prime in the early days (prior to Canada’s first federal EV rebate), I enjoyed free L2 charging almost everywhere so I was able to drive in EV mode for a lot of its life. Even those places with 1 hour limits for free charging (before a charge kicks in for the second hour), I can get a good amount of charge and enough to cover the trip. Now it’s possible my metro is much smaller than those in the US… I definitely don’t need to drive on the highway to get around so that helps with efficiency.

For anyone unsure about EV ownership and range anxiety, a PHEV is definitely the way to go - it helps you figure out your drive, where public charging is and summer vs winter range.
