I got my Aisin pump from Amazon a few days ago and just installed it. It had the Toyota name on the pump casting filed off. I remembered seeing pictures of that in reviews and then promptly forgot that THIS was that product. I decided to contact the Aisin aftermarket products again and send a picture of the pump. They said its common practice to remove any trademarks from the product. The pump was neatly packed in a sealed cardboard box and the pump was in an Aisin box and inside that a sealed plastic bag. All looked normal except for that name being scratched off from the case. The install went pretty easily. not sure why the instructions say you need to get at the lower bolt from underneath. There was a surprising amount of room to work around the pump. If I am allowed to bitch for a second about anything, Toyota routed an A/C line from the compressor right next to one of the bolts making it so you couldn't really get a socket on it. That seemed unnecessary. I will keep my eye on the coolant temps and hopefully I get a decent lifespan from this pump. The old working pump I replaced will travel in a box for any road trips... just in case. I do not know why those pumps were made with a Toyota logo ( probably meant for a dealership ) and then sold as aftermarket,
