I have little lizards in my basement. They do eat all the spiders and bugs. They hang out on the water radiators to keep warm and I let them because I have seen about 3 spiders since I moved in. Nice and friendly.
In that case, I'd understand, and possibly do the same thing. Which is partly why I asked how many crickets were involved. So far, TheForce has reported an 'infestation' of one, which doesn't justify chemical warfare.
I could live with that. I've been in hotels in tropical regions where there were lizards. OT: How come "lizard" has only one zee while gizzard has two? If a lizard has a gizzard, shouldn't its gizzard have fewer zees than the lizard? Last time I was on Cayman Island, there was about a six-foot-long iguana lizard that hung around the pool area and sometimes climbed the trees. It was pretty cool. But I wouldn't want it in my room.
they are the quiet type, not your regular black crickets. we have cats, crickets have not been a problem so far.
I kinda like the sound of crickets, as long as they're outside. Finding them crawling around under the bedcovers would be quite another matter.
