I'm considering taking my vehicle to work and charging it. My landlord is doing work and I cannot access the garage. Anything I can buy to lock up the charger and prevent it from being stolen? I need a lock or something similar.

If you have a Gen 4 Prime, you can set the options so that it locks in place and will only unlock when you stand next to the charging port with the key fob near the car.

Not all Gen4 Prime has the lock, mine doesn't.

I used something like this with my 20 Prime LE and my Volt which had no lock. I paid less and got two, Defiant brand. It will at least thwart the normal cord thief who isn’t expecting this.
Another thing is get a cheaper evse, plus the handle padlock. I got one like this but the smaller version, supplied by Chrysler. Works perfectly fine. I decided to stick to name brand, and it was $100.
