Hello All What do you call those little plastic things that you use to hold the cover that covers the underside of the engine and transmission area and where do you get them? Thanks
You call them vulgar names like 90467-07215 or 90467-07220, etc., depending on which ones you're looking for. Things with a 90467- prefix will often have a description like "CLIP". Short, to the point, and because there's just one word and no commas, no problems with people saying it backwards. But of course you need the full part number to specify which kind of clip.
Part nos are conveniently summarized in the attached TSB; you can obtain through dealership parts department, or online through sites like Parts.Toyota or Amayama. The aforementioned sites have the diagrams like the example @ChapmanF posted. Finding them requires inputting your car info, then drilling down through the categories. Parts.Toyota in particular is invaluable in the States: it’ll locate parts, show suggested retail price, and provide links to dealerships local-to-you that have the parts, and their “street” prices (usually lower).

The main clips you need (from prev attachment) are 2 of the #5, and 10~12 of the #3 (verify qty in attachment) #4 are plastic/plastic, a pair, you may or may not be missing. I’d stick to Toyota, see what a dealership near you is asking (via parts.Toyota site).
Most of the clips were gone.. the ones I am looking to replace are the plastic/plastic ones. But keeping a variety on hand is a good idea I think . A question.. My cover is missling the little oil change hatch door. Is a replacement cover expensive? Thanks
You can buy similar plastic push-pin clips at much lower prices on-line. I doubt Toyota sells the flap separately, because it's integral with the whole large plastic under-engine panel. It wouldn't be very difficult to fabricate a substitute that you could conveniently remove for oil changes.
Attached is my all-in cost ~$25 CDN* (including shipping) for a complete replacement set, in 2019, through Amayama. That’s everything but the 2 plastic/plastic #4’s. I just wanted to have them on hand; have so far replaced 3~4. * $25 CDN converts to roughly $18 USD currently.
