WHEN(not if) Greenland melts...

I agree. However, I find it a bit curious that the global temperature has really not moved in any significant way since 1997 and certainly since 2001 has in fact declined. Dismiss global warming entirely? No. Question the predictions of climate models? Yes.

 

i have heard the Greenland/Iceland story debunked several times. the misleading place names were done to prevent the poor from overpopulating the true destination of Iceland...

the line where people lost interest in the goods Greenland had to offer is not true. what really happened is the poor spent their life savings to get to Greenland, found out it was a lie, but could not afford to go back.
