i'm sorry i missed this thread until after you found them. i was going to suggest under the drivers seat along the rail.
We definitely looked there. In that photo I posted, there's a whole keychain right there. We'd put our hands there, used a flashlight, the works. It was REALLY hidden.
I had the same thing happen and was totally puzzled. I looked everywhere but eventually I found it down between the center console and the passenger seat, tucked in along the rail. I looked down there and under that seat a half a dozen times before I finally saw it.
