As long as the US has so many major highways that are more torn up than those in many Third World countries, there is no way you can keep your paint job looking new. It seems that every time we drive on a highway, we get hit by at least one rock. If our Interstates are not rebuilt soon, we are going to need Prius Tanks to drive anywhere. I-95 will knock your teeth out in places while in NC, and there is no plan to rebuild, much less expand, that four lane nightmare. And the increase in traffic everywhere means that even more rocks are flying at your new car every day. I am much more frightened about rocks zooming through the windshield and killing me than about my paint job.
