If it wasn’t just 3.5 years left it would be the west coast and northeast would join Canada. Not Canada becomes a state. Throw in some upper midwest too. Minn, Ill, Wi, Mich.

She teaches out on the left Coast of Canada and up until now I had always credited our northern neighbors for being more effectively educated....

YEMEN isn't really a functioning nation now but I DO seem to recall that they 'never' stopped being North and South Yemen.

Over on the 'continent' I guess England and Scotland 'never' formed the nation of Great Britain either.
(and yes....that one is sort of debatable )
