No, all 2010s are not sold out in the US. No, there is not a 1 year waiting list to buy a G3 Prius. Many dealers haves some 2010s sitting on their lots ready to buy today. No waiting required. The supply will likely get better, not worse over the next weeks and months, because, if demand justifies it, Toyota will be able to build at a faster rate than they are building now. You are caught up into a lot of hype from Toyota's press release.
Hi All, I agree with M8s. This appears to be a tactical error on Toyota's part. With the Japanese unexpected backlog, they should put off this add campaign for 9 months. And then run it only if there is not a US backlog.
