Window Belt Molding Repair

reviving an old thread that I started with my current Prius. I picked up a new 2007 Prius that has probably the original and failing window seals. They are not nearly as bad as what I had before, so I will try to keep them in service with either 3M adhesive on the seal or look for the roofing silicone suggested by ColoradoCrow. Nothing to loose as the next step for these seals is the trash.

 

Unless I missed it, his source for these parts was left out. Probably ebay. I see a set for about $50. I did those before and may do them again, but I wasn't 100% satisfied. The product looked good but the fit was not the best. That being said, I have a set that has been installed for about a year and it gives me a reasonable assessment for how well they might last.
