    Yup. Coming from a Civic hybrid, it was the Prius drive system that attracted me, but I'm also hooked on the hatch capacity now.

    My neighbor 2 houses down has a Fushion Energi Titanium as well. I had considered one, but it wouldn't suit my needs because the trunk is too small. Congrats on the new car!

    So, Energi's cost to drive 25 miles is basically the same as a regular Prius, more than PIP?

    About 12% less if I am reading the table correctly.
    Did you notice that the Prius fueling is cheaper than the PiP ?

    The PiP is $250 cheaper over five years.

    I have no problem with somebody, anybody, being happy with the vehicle they own, even if it is going from a Prius to some other vehicle.

    But just as an exercise in communication I'd say just remember your audience. This is "Prius Chat" which should suggest to you that it has a majority of Prius enthusiasts. So when you say something like....

    You have to expect a degree of defensive reply. Even if that is how you feel, perhaps that's a comment best left unsaid? Nobody likes their vehicle compared to a golf cart.

    Personally? If you're happy, I'm happy. At least you went from Prius to another "Alternative" choice. Glad to hear you think The Ford product is a great product. I would be interested in hearing about your feelings/experience with ownership long term.

    Congrats! I drove a Fusion Energi back in April and it was a great car. It felt solid and "European".
