Driving on a trip from Rapid City SD to the Twin Cities MN, I managed an incredible feat. To preface the MPG seen in the image, it was this bad for a number of reasons, of which were: -low tire pressure (24-29psi all around) -headwind in wide open space with no trees/buildings with gusts over 45mph -extra cargo in car (additional 350 lbs) Just wanted to post this here and compare with others worst MPG. What say thee? View attachment 248591
My worst was close to that, from the Twin Cities to Hinckley in January in a -15ºF temperature. I got roughly 30 miles per gallon that day. Of course, I’ve gotten closer to 25mpg for short distances in winter as well, but that was for less than 10 miles at a time.
