    Evan, THANKS for the reply. I respect your opinion and combined with the "advice" my friend (the mechanic) gave me, 3,000 MILES is going to be the "magic number" for me !!

    Nope CAN-view on the trips screen. I posted the question in the "oil change interval" threads last Sept. asking the question did the oil actually see 2940 Km's or 1999 Km's as the ICE only ran 68% of the time.
