Every time I start my new '08 Prius, the XM channel resets to 255. Does anyone know if I should contact a Toyota dealer to have them check the programming, or something else? Thanks for the help. Michael R.
Was this a dealer intall? Is there a channel 255 or would this be the highest setting possible? It sounds like you're losing power completely when you power off the vehicle. I have XM in my 2008 and I installed it myself. So far no issues.
it may be the 12v supply as joe (if you don't mind) said. Is this a problem with the system not working, so it defaults to a channel... or is this a question only regarding the channel not saving into memory because it's powering down wrong? If you are losing any kind of signal, you may want to log onto xm.com and resent a validation code.
